Oakmount & Partners Ltd Seventeen Years of Continuous Operation
01 Opening Statement
Established December 2009 · England & Wales · Company No. 07101464
Seventeen Years.
Multiple Market Cycles.
One Consistent Standard.

Oakmount & Partners is an independent UK private-markets and capital-engagement business, established in December 2009 and operating continuously since that date. The firm works across professional-investor, institutional and corporate environments — facilitating structured engagement in private equity, fixed income, structured capital, real assets, technology and selected strategic opportunities.

The seventeen years that followed our establishment encompassed materially different economic and financial-market conditions: the aftermath of the Global Financial Crisis, a prolonged low-interest-rate environment, Brexit, the pandemic, inflationary disruption, monetary tightening, and rapid technological transition. Private-market judgement cannot be developed from a single transaction, a single asset class, or a single economic cycle. It develops through repeated and disciplined exposure to changing conditions.

That accumulation of experience has shaped an operating philosophy centred upon selectivity, commercial rigour, governance architecture and long-term professional relationships. Throughout, Oakmount operates on a strictly non-advisory and execution-only basis. The firm does not provide personal investment recommendations, financial planning or discretionary investment management.

03 Perspective Earned Over Time
The Oakmount Story
Numbers provide context.
Longevity provides perspective.

Oakmount was established in December 2009 as global financial markets were emerging from one of the most significant dislocations in modern economic history. The seventeen years that followed encompassed dramatically different environments. Private-market judgement cannot be developed from a single transaction, asset class or economic cycle. It develops through repeated exposure to changing conditions, different counterparties, different forms of capital, changing valuations, evolving regulation and shifting investor sentiment.

04 Value · Values · Time
Philosophy
Three principles. One operating framework.

Not as marketing language. As a framework developed across seventeen years of private-market activity and applied consistently since the firm's establishment in 2009.

V
Value
Oakmount operates according to a value-driven philosophy. Whether considering a business, real asset, private-market transaction or emerging sector, the starting questions remain consistent: What creates the underlying economic value? What can strengthen that value over time? What risks must be accepted in pursuing it? What structure surrounds the capital?

Value investing, in this context, is not simply the search for inexpensive assets. It is a way of thinking about capital allocation, enterprise, risk, ownership and time.
V
Values
Oakmount believes that corporate values and economic value are connected. Integrity builds trust. Discipline improves decision-making. Governance creates accountability. Innovation enables adaptation. Relationships create continuity. Reputation enables an institution to endure.

These are not aspirational statements. They are operating commitments that have governed Oakmount's conduct since 2009 and that apply, without exception, to every engagement the firm undertakes.
T
Time
Businesses require time to develop. Assets require time to mature. Strategies require time to execute. Relationships require time to earn. Experience itself requires time to accumulate. Oakmount therefore takes a long-term view of enterprise and capital.

Wealth is rarely created by following value after it becomes obvious. It is created by recognising underlying value, applying discipline and allowing time for that value to develop.
Value creates opportunity.
Values determine how we pursue it.
Time allows the outcome to develop.

This represents corporate philosophy only and does not constitute investment advice or any form of performance promise.

07 The Oakmount Operating Model
Process
Eight stages. One consistent standard.

Oakmount's approach begins before capital is introduced. Commercial rationale, transaction structure, counterparties, supporting documentation and participation parameters are considered before an engagement progresses. Where appropriate to a particular transaction, specialist external parties may form part of the wider structure.

01
Stage One
Origination
Identification of opportunities meeting Oakmount's commercial and structural criteria.
02
Stage Two
Commercial Assessment
Evaluation of the economic basis, transaction structure and commercial rationale.
03
Stage Three
Counterparty Review
Understanding of all parties involved and the basis of proposed engagement.
04
Stage Four
Structural & Document Review
Ensuring that material rights and obligations are formally and clearly documented.
05
Stage Five
Specialist Due Diligence
External professional input where the nature of the transaction warrants it.
06
Stage Six
Investor Eligibility & Onboarding
Verification of investor eligibility and categorisation within applicable legal frameworks.
07
Stage Seven
Execution & Capital Engagement
Structured completion and subscription within defined transactional parameters.
08
Stage Eight
Information & Relationship Management
Ongoing communication, reporting and relationship stewardship post-completion.

Professional involvement is always transaction-specific. References to specialist parties must not be interpreted as endorsement of Oakmount or any investment opportunity.

08 Governance & Due Diligence
Governance Before Growth
Process, documentation,
professional scrutiny.
Due diligence does not eliminate risk. Its purpose is to improve information quality, structural clarity and informed decision-making.

Private markets inherently involve complexity. Information can be less standardised than in public markets. Liquidity may be limited. Valuations can differ. Counterparty, operating and execution risks require careful consideration. Oakmount does not suggest that such risks can be eliminated. Instead, the firm seeks to place process, documentation, professional scrutiny and defined responsibilities around the engagements in which it participates.

Commercial Rationale
Understanding the economic basis of an engagement before capital is introduced or committed.
Counterparty Review
Understanding the parties involved and the basis of their engagement with the transaction.
Documentation
Ensuring that material rights and obligations are clearly and formally documented.
Information Governance
Disciplined handling of confidential and transaction-specific information throughout every engagement.
Investor Eligibility
Ensuring opportunity-specific material is distributed within the applicable legal and eligibility framework.
External Professional Input
Using specialist external parties where the nature of the transaction warrants independent review.
09 From Facilitation to Proprietary Architecture
The Next Stage of Oakmount
Greater ownership of structure.
Greater accountability for process.

Oakmount's origins lie in private-market capital engagement and corporate facilitation. As the business has developed, its role has increasingly extended towards the creation and coordination of proprietary investment structures.

Rather than relying exclusively upon third-party opportunities, proprietary structures provide greater influence over legal architecture, governance, documentation, reporting, professional-party selection, structural controls and long-term alignment between capital and enterprise.

This evolution reflects a natural progression: from a firm that facilitates access to private markets, towards one that increasingly architects the structures through which that access is provided.

Experience Cannot Be Accelerated
Seventeen years in private markets has reinforced a simple principle.
Capital should not merely be deployed. It should be positioned with purpose.

Oakmount & Partners continues to evolve alongside the markets in which it operates — expanding its capabilities, strengthening its governance architecture and developing deeper relationships across the professional investment community. The structures will evolve. The markets will change. The principles remain.
